OBEDIENCE = Gateway to all blessing!

God requires from us unquestionable obedience. Why? Because…. He desires to bless us more than we deserve or desire to be blessed.

God’s nature is a blessing nature. Abba Father is a compassionate and merciful Father who lavishes upon us His unlimited extravagance.

To revel in God’s blessings we need to live in obedience to His Word. Our obedience is the covenant that unleashes a bouquet of favor upon us and upon all we do.

Obedience to God is never out of compulsion but out of respectful conformity to His plan for our lives.

May a time I quoted this scripture over my life “God sent His word and healed our diseases” but upon looking at this verse in its whole context, it is apparent that obedience to God’s ways is the gateway to healing. Ahem…some people may find this difficult to stomach or digest. However, let us read from the good book of life for ourselves…

Exodus 15:26 He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

The 28 chapter of Deuteronomy is dedicated to this subject. 12 power verses talk about the blessings that follow obedience and an astonishing 54 verses indicate the curses that chase after disobedience.

God sets up the tempo in the first couple of verses

Deuteronomy 28 1&2 ^‘If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. ² All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God

The 3^rd chapter in the book of Proverbs is one of my favorite chapters, golden streams of wisdom flow from these verses…

Proverbs 3

 ¹ My son, do not forget my teaching,
       but keep my commands in your heart,

 ² for they will prolong your life many years
       and bring you prosperity.

 ³ Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
       bind them around your neck,
       write them on the tablet of your heart.

 ⁴ Then you will win favor and a good name
       in the sight of God and man.

 ⁵ Trust in the LORD with all your heart
       and lean not on your own understanding;

 ⁶ in all your ways acknowledge him,
       and he will make your paths straight. ^[a]

 ⁷ Do not be wise in your own eyes;
       fear the LORD and shun evil.

 ⁸ This will bring health to your body
       and nourishment to your bones.

Truly, we should be so thankful for the active obedience of Christ. Cause there would be absolutely no hope for us without it.

Obedience will bring us into the Abundance of Christ. A strong loathing for disobedience will keep us on course in our race for the crown of glory. God is waiting for you to act in obedience to bestow upon you His abundance. Take a decision today to be obedient unto God. In boldness and in courage say “Come what may, I will hearken my ear unto my God. I will not sway, but I will stay on to hear Him say “You are my most obedient one”.
